Help a child reap the life-shaping rewards of a Catholic education by sponsoring a student. This enables local businesses and benefactors to help parents who wish to enroll their children in Catholic schools or help keep their children in school. Through this program, you can help provide the resources needed for a child to attend school. In doing so, you will not only make a dramatic difference in the life of a child, but also serve as an example of the compassion and selflessness we strive to instill in our students, and our future leaders.
How does the donation work?Your tuition contribution will be distributed to the school directly, or can be allocated to the area identified as having the greatest need. In the past we have had a family sponsor a particular child with a specific need. For example, a student with special talents, coming from a certain background, country, or refugee status, or a student that has been identified with a high risk situation where continuing Catholic education could save the life of this child and help create a firm faith foundation for the rest of their life.
Who benefits?Those students who want the advantage of Catholic education, but who need financial assistance will benefit most directly from your contribution. Indirectly, the entire Catholic education system, our communities, and our families will all share the positive impact. And of course, you will benefit with the satisfaction of knowing your compassion has made a real difference in a child’s life. We would offer the opportunity to meet the student that is the recipient of your generosity so that you will learn first hand the significance of your support. To sustain a student’s enrollment for his/her entire elementary or secondary school education, a donor is encouraged to support that student for that length of time. - Gifting levels: Options include annual donations of full tuition for an OLSH School Student ($3,950 as of 2017-2018) or an annual OLSH partial scholarship donation.
- Gift designation: Donors have the option to designate their gift to a specific area (music education, art education, drama, sports, science, technology, etc.) or allow our school to identify where the greatest need exists.
- Payment options: Contributions can be made by check or credit card.
